My 2 year old has had a cough for the last, oh, week and a half (he is fine though, acting like his normal self thank goodness, no fever or anything). And along with it he has a bit of a snotty nose. Its not runny snotty, but, uh, booger snotty. I am sure all you moms out there have dealt with this sort of thing many times. Well, Jimmy has discovered how to pick his nose. And the cute part is - yes, there is a cute part - every time he gets a good "catch" he comes running to me with his finger outstretched showing me his prize and wanting a tissue. He is so sweet to come to me wanting a tissue instead of wiping it on my couch or something. Of course, I have caught him eating (GROSSSSSS) them once or twice, and since I have told him not to do that in a mortified voice, I think he has decided it is funny and will continue to do it for the entertainment of mommy's reaction....lol. But luckily most of the time he brings them to me to wipe with a tissue.
And speaking of bringing me things, Jimmy is so sweet, he has been bringing me the dish towel every time I wash my hands at the kitchen sink! It is the cutest thing and he does it most every I wash my hands or do the dishes. I think I have a dish drier in my future, yay!
Ok, so on to Ann's party game. It is one we have played before, but its cute. Its Librarian Alter Ego. Mine is Bubbles Featherbottom. To find out what yours is, go visit Ann's blog! And she is having a giveaway, so check that out too!
Well, thats it for now, I am off to visit a couple blogs before Jimmy wakes up from his nap. I will be around later this evening to visit more. Happy VGNO everyone!

ahhhhh nice nose Jimmy ! :) sorry momma!
My nieces will run up to us and say "look autie, I got a ladybug" Thats what my sister taught them to call boogers...lol. Glad that he's coming to you with them. Luckily my daughter has reached that stage yet, but I'm sure it right on the horizon. I'll make sure to act like its no big deal when I try to stop her from eating them...maybe then she won't be so interested the next time :) And as for Jimmy's cough, I heard that a little spoonful of honey works to calm it.
P.S. My librarian name is Cookie Featherbottom...haha...thanks!
Happy VGNO from Pepper Anitacocktail!! My four y/o shares his 'finds' all the time. Sigh....
Hahaha! Oh, I so remember the booger days!
Happy VGNO enjoy your weekend.
I love the dishtowel thing! What a sweetie!
Happy VGNO from Bubbles Featherbottom!! :-)
Happy VGNO from Bubbles Featherbottom!! :-)
LOL how cute! I'm so sick of the booger issue, 2 out of 3 boys are sick and one of them has pneumonia (blah) and we have the worst booger problem! I cannot wait until the baby learns to blow his nose!
Happy VGNO and have a wonderful weekend.
I hope your little one feels better soon! Princess Nagger will suck her thumb and pick her nose simultaneously. Such a lovely sight. ;)
Happy VGNO! :)
At least he didn't wall paper your wall with the boogies!
Have a Happy VGNO!
My son never really took to picking his nose. I'm not sure why. My daughter does not dare to touch her nose because she is hoping that I will not notice that needs her nose wiped. She HATES that. :)
AHHHHHHH!!!!!
I remember those days.
Oh my goodness. The things that you thought you would NEVER be able to tolerate when you were a young woman seem to dissipate when you're a mom.
Happy VGNO Ali!
So funny! Jake just started running to me sticking his face forward & pointing at his nose so I will wipe it, hopefully this lasts! He does turn 2 Sunday though, so I'm sure booger eating will be coming soon!
Have a great VGNO! :)
