Not Me! Monday - The Witch Strikes Again!

I thought this would be perfect for Not Me! Monday...

I did NOT take my son back to Lowe's and I did NOT show him the witch and try to show him it was pretend.

He wasn't quite as scared as last week, but he was still worried. This past week has been a bit interesting though. Jimmy did NOT see my last blog post about his encounter with the witch and he did NOT see the picture of her. He has NOT been scared and worried the entire last week! He does NOT keep pointing at the guest room where the computer is, and he was NOT so worried that he would not eat his dinner a couple times. It is really NOT starting to get a little annoying lol. But I will say it is also NOT pretty cute to see him worried. He points to the room and covers his little mouth and says "Oh no" in such a sweet little voice! I thought he would forget, but he didn't. And I did NOT print out a picture of said witch from the Lowe's website so that Jimmy might get used to her and not be afraid anymore. At least he has been sleeping fine, thank the Lord!

I did NOT try to stick my bank card in the receipt slot when I got gas the other day. Luckily I put the gas nozzle in the right place! lol

I did NOT just find Duke chewing on Jimmy's Foogo sippy cup! Arrgh! Luckily no damage was done.

I did NOT put my seedlings outside (sheltered in the shed) to harden them off and then find them dead. I am NOT that silly and I did NOT not think about planting them and then putting a cut off milk jug over them to act as a mini greenhouse. Oops. Off to buy some tomato plants =)

I am NOT super tired from a long weekend and I totally did NOT let Jimmy skip his naps on both Saturday AND Sunday!

I am NOT now trying to get Jimmy to take a nap after 2 days of no naps and he is NOT resisting.

We did NOT take Jimmy to the playground the other day, and Daddy did NOT take him down the big slide and he absolutely did NOT get stuck lol!


I am NOT totally behind on reading everyone's blog posts, not me!

I have NOT been having a wonderful time enjoying the nice weather and I have definitely NOT been out working in the garden and flower beds a lot.

I am NOT going to go do some more of the above mentioned right after I am done catching up on some blogs.... =)

Jimmy is NOT 15 months old today!



I did NOT just realize that I have passed the 100 post mark! Wahoo! My 100th post was on Easter.

I did NOT find out that I do have hypothyroidism on Friday. Boo! Pill everyday for the rest of my life, yikes! Hope I can remember!

I did NOT sell my son's turtle sandbox at the flea market because it didn't have eyes and we thought we were getting one for free that DID have eyes. We did NOT find out that said sandbox with eyes in fact doesn't have eyes and is not the green turtle sandbox, but a wannabe purple and yellow one! Argh! I was NOT very disappointed and now I have to go about trying to find another one second hand for CHEAP. This time it has to have the eyes though!

I do NOT think the above is a little confusing lol!

I did NOT get a sunburn from being out in the sun all day at the flea market on Saturday. I would NEVER NOT put on suntan lotion and my skin on my shoulders does NOT still hurt when my shirt rubs it.

I am NOT still praying for Stellan and the MckMama family

I did NOT find Jimmy eating dirt from my potting soil bag that I left sitting on the floor of the mudroom

And later on the same day I did NOT find Jimmy eating a piece of dog food from same mudroom....

He had NOT just discovered that he can go INTO the mudroom (it has a tiny step-down and he has been afraid of going across the threshold for some reason) that same day, thus the new fascination with exploring it.

I did NOT waste the nice beautiful day yesterday by going grocery shopping and running errands. Boo!

And we did NOT just spend money on a round pen. And it is NOT brand new and we did NOT get a good deal on it!

I have NOT been praying for sweet little baby Stellan, who just turned 5 months old, constantly for the past week.

I do NOT think Stellan is just the cutest, sweetest little guy ever

I have NOT cried for him and his family multiple times in the past week.

I have NOT felt like I wanted to vomit a couple times because of just how sad it makes me that he is so sick.

I have NOT had their blog page open the entire time and I do NOT constantly reload it to check for updates.

I am NOT crying for sweet little baby Stellan and his family right now...
Praying for sweet little Stellan, please Lord help the Drs. find out what is wrong and help that sweet little baby boy! Be with his family and give them peace and strength! In your precious, holy name, Amen.

Edit: They know what is wrong now, thank the Lord for that. Please God, help little Stellan's heart rate go down to normal. Guide the Drs. hands and heal that sweet baby boy. Give his family strength and help them keep their eyes on you!


I did NOT get my new (used) camera working this weekend (had to wait for the batteries to come) and I am NOT so utterly in love with it and I definitely did NOT take tons of pics in the last 2 days.

The fact that the camera actually TAKES THE PICTURE when I push the shutter so I can get the pic I want right at the exact moment does NOT totally make me happy! Otherwise the above pic would NOT come out looking more like this:

(eewww not to mention that the new pics need less color correction!)


I did NOT actually stay off the computer most of the weekend because my sister and her family were visiting, it is NOT amazing!

Little Jimmy did NOT catch his little cousin's cold and he has NOT been using my shirts as random snot rags because I definitely HAVE been remembering to wipe his nose...

I did NOT see my 3 little hyacinths finally peeking through the ground and I did NOT scream YAY! and get all excited that I had 3 little spring flowers popping out =)

And....lastly...my hubby absolutely did NOT buy me a pink flowering dogwood for a belated anniversary gift yesterday. I would certainly NEVER let him spend $62 on a little tree and it is NOT the cutest little tree you ever did see!

Little Jimmy and I did NOT just wake up a little while ago, around 10

I do NOT feel like I have wasted half of the day already

I am NOT sitting here typing this in my pj's

Tomorrow is NOT me and hubby's 2 year anniversary ;-)

I did NOT get irritated at some people that were hanging out over by our creek on the other side of our property for like a half hour, then I did NOT feel embarrassed about my attitude when my hubby told me they were going down the road picking up trash! Oopsie!

I did NOT go to Lowes yesterday and get really excited when I saw the new trees and garden plants, yay!! Spring is NOT almost here lol!

Ooo, almost forgot! I am NOT getting a new (to me) camera from my awesome photographer Uncle (and cousin) and I am NOT super excited to finally be getting a digital SLR, even if it is only 6 megapixels, THATS OK, it gets me started, THANKS UNCLE BRUCE and BRIAN! I did NOT get the hang the cloth diapers diapers out to dry on Saturday because it was NOT such a nice day! And I did NOT get very excited about it!

I am NOT sitting here typing this as little Jimmy sits in his highchair asking for more food...brb!

I did NOT make my poor sweet baby boy sick yesterday but nursing him when I had some sort of stomach flu THING. And I did NOT let him take a nap in his own vomit for I don't know how long because DH didn't discover it until he went to get him up from his nap while I was lying on the couch. We did NOT have a rough day yesterday =( (we are better now, thank goodness it was a 24 hour thing!!)

I did NOT spend about $130 on groceries for the month, minus a few perishables that will have to be picked up throughout the month. Wahoo! I do NOT love Aldi and Kroger double coupons =)

I am NOT cutting this short because I still feel a bit yucky and want to go lie down...

I did NOT make Special K bars AND chocolate chip cookies within 2 days of each other and then proceed to eat MOST of them (Jim helped at least!)

I did NOT forget that I ran out of baking powder and start making homemade waffles. And I did NOT freak out when I realized I didn't have any baking powder. I did NOT then search the internet for a homemade baking powder recipe and find one! I am NOT so excited that I was able to save the waffles!

I did NOT forget to mail my friend's birthday card until today...and her birthday is tomorrow!

I am NOT letting my son have naked time and run around and possibly use the floor as a potty, not ME!

I am NOT wearing the same shirt I slept in last night...I just took a shower and everything, its just so comfy! =)

Let me start by saying the I did NOT let Jimmy cry in his crib for longer than 10 minutes the other morning while I covered my head up with the covers wishing he would just let me sleep a LITTLE longer!! I would never do that, not me!!

I did NOT make heart shaped stamps for him to make daddy a Valentine's card and let him play in the red and pink paint.....

I have NOT been letting Jimmy run around (in the house!) in nothing but a diaper on and off for the last few days when it is only like 30 degrees outside!

I am absolutely NOT a wee bit sad that Jimmy is finally walking pretty well, and I do NOT miss him being a little baby totally dependent on me =(

I certainly did NOT allow Jimmy to eat sugary, refined, processed junk food at my friend's daughter's 2nd birthday party on Valentine's Day - No Way! Not THIS health conscious momma! (ha, thanks for reminding me Katie! lol)

I do NOT sometimes wish I had a laptop so I could sit in the living room and watch Jimmy play or watch certain tv shows while blogging or playing games on facebook or researching baby and horse stuff....not ME! That would be completely and utterly LAZY!

I am NOT sitting here at the computer typing this while I should be out in the barn doing horsie chores so my hubby doesn't have too when he gets home from his 2nd job at 11pm tonight...

I did NOT drive my car with expired tags last week and then freak out about it while at the mall and get all flustered and want to go straight home on the backroads....

I did NOT let Jimmy watch a video (Kinda like MckMama with her boys!) while eating his organic toasted oats cereal...so I could play a game online

I do NOT still have candy left from Christmas sitting on the dining room table...and am still nibbling on it!

I did NOT let Jimmy have a bite of a sugary, processed, full of yucky stuff doughnut yesterday

I did NOT just mail out some Christmas thank-yous today...and I do NOT still have a bunch left to write

On that note, I did NOT put the list of baby shower gifts somewhere and never got around to writing the thank-you's for most of them...from a year ago!
